Preschool & Elementart Education Parent Forums
Come chat with Diaconal Minister Kim Suhr and other parents as we discuss what is important in the faith development of our preschool and elementary children here at Ezekiel. We want to offer high quality educational opportunities that support our families of young children and we need to hear from you! Please come on either Sunday, February 12th at 9:45am in Room 200, or Wednesday, February 15th at 6:15pm in Room 100.
Church Ladies' Cook-Off
In Jon Hassler’s 1940s-era GRAND OPENING, conflict between Catholics and Lutherans is alive & well. As part of River Falls Reads, eight local churches have agreed to participate in a good-natured rivalry: which church has the best cooks? Come taste-test their entries in both the Hotdish/Entrée category and the Jello category. Following the Cook-Off, Janet Martin, author & humorist, will regale us with “Hot Dishes, Hot Pads & Hot Flashes,” after which the Cook-Off winners will be announced. Ticket proceeds and goodwill donations will be donated to the River Falls Food Pantry in the name of the winning church.
When: February 16, 2012 -
6:00pm Cook-Off; 7:00pm Janet Martin
Where: First Congregational Church,
110 N. 3rd. Street
$1 Tickets-Available at the Library and Participating Churches, including Ezekiel (tickets are in the church office).
