Supporting Our Ministry
Your generosity helps support every part of our church’s ministry and mission. Ezekiel has several giving funds so that you can direct your gift to the areas that matter most to you. Each fund plays an important role in helping our church serve our congregation, care for our community, and continue sharing the love of Christ both locally and beyond.
General Fund
Gifts to this fund support the general operating functions of the church, which include building maintenance, mortgage, utilities and insurance, staff salaries, worship and program expenses.
Building Our Future Campaign
Jacob’s Ladder- 2nd Floor project: Summer 2026
Gifts to this campaign will go towards renovations of the Church’s 2nd floor, which houses Jacob’s Ladder, our preschool and childcare. This project’s mission is to meet safety requirements and to modernize the space to support the future of Jacob’s Ladder as it continues to grow.

Ezekiel Legacy Fund
The Legacy fund is an endowment through the St Croix Valley Foundation. The purpose of this endowment is to expand, extend, enhance, and augment the ministry and mission of Ezekiel Lutheran Church beyond the operational budget of the congregation. Earnings from this fund are used at discretion of the church council to benefit the congregation or ministry in the community.
Gifts to the Legacy Fund are designated gifts given to Ezekiel in the form of cash, check, or IRA distributions. Please submit a letter to the Business Office along with your contribution, naming the Legacy Fund as a recipient of the gift.
Missions Fund
Gifts to this fund will be used to support a variety of local and global missions and organizations, determined by the Service & Mission Committee.
Previous missions that this committee has provided support or donations to:
“It takes a Village” Concert at Ezekiel, which raised money for Haitian Relief
First National Bank’s “Shoe the Love” 5k event, which raises money to provide new shoes to local kids in need
Grace Place meals
Women of the ELCA (WELCA)
Gifts to Ezekiel’s WELCA are used to support their mission to help people churchwide, locally, and globally. Some projects include collecting and assembling items to complete sewing kits, health kits, school kits and blankets that are sent worldwide.

Youth Summer Bible Camp
Gifts to this fund help pay for Ezekiel youth and families to attend Luther Point Bible Camp in Grantsburg, WI. Campers gain independence, meet new friends, and take ownership of their faith through worship, Bible studies, and other fun activities.
Youth Summer Trip
Gifts to this fund go towards supporting the youth who attend Ezekiel’s annual summer trip. This trip typically focuses on service, learning, adventure, and vocational development.
Children Ministries
Gifts to this fund are used to purchase children’s bibles, supplies for children’s events such as Sunday school and Vacation Bible School, and baptismal supplies.
Jacob’s Ladder
Gifts to this fund are used to purchase groceries and supplies, toys and play equipment, and craft materials for children in childcare and preschool students. Gifts can also be designated towards scholarships to preschool families that are unable to cover the cost of tuition.
Music Program
Gifts to this program go towards equipment and supplies for the choir, bell choir, praise band, as well as for instrumentalist expenses, instrument maintenance, and sound equipment.
